Sit-up "Butt Berry"
After the Saturday WOD involving 125 sit-ups, I overheard a member sharing about the not so enjoyable shhower she took post workout due to the chaffing that created "butt berry" from all the sit-ups. Now I know this isn't the first time I've heard someone so delicately express the discomfort caused by too many poor sit-ups so I thought we should tackle the problem head on...ab mat and all. There are two reasons which usually go hand and hand with one another.
1. Not keeping the abs enabacked you lay back to the floor
This causes the second problem
2. The hips and rear end leaving the ground at the bottom of the movement
This kipping motion causes repetitive Rubbing of that tender spot on the floor.
What is the solution?!?! It's simple....keep your abs tight and your bum on the floor!! Easy as "butt berry" pie
